Dear Members,

In this edition of the Communicator, you will learn about a number of exciting ways you can make a difference in our fight to save adult education. Now is the time to pull together  in preparation for CCAE's Legislative Day at the Capitol. Here are some important steps that we ask you to take:

 

Review the latest talking points on K-12 Adult Education and the Governor's LCFF proposal.  

 

Revise the California Adult School Fact Sheet to include your district-specific information, and send a copy of your completed sheet to membership@ccaestate.org. 

 

Contact your elected officials  at their district offices - Senator & Assembly member, and schedule a site visit for the member to visit your school.

 

 

 

 

Utilize the NASCAR sample letter to obtain and show support from your community for K-12 Adult Education. Be sure to send a copy of your completed letter to membership@ccaestate.org.

 

I encourage you to take the time now to schedule your meetings for Leg Day on April 17th.  I hope to see you there!
